Intensification

Intensification of an instructional platform is a targeted approach designed to support students’ ongoing, specific needs. Rather than providing more of the same instruction, intensification involves implementing different strategies and using data to determine whether there are changes in student learning. Project STAIR relies on research-based adaptation strategies: alignment, attention to transfer, comprehensiveness, embed behavior supports, implement with fidelity, increase dosage, and individualization.
